Geysir , sometimes known as The Great Geysir, is a geyser in south-western Iceland, that geological studies suggest started forming about 1150 CE.
The name Gullfoss means "Golden Falls," and it's known for its powerful cascade. Gullfoss is fed by the Hvita River and plunges into a dramatic canyon, creating two distinct drops that total around 105 feet (32 meters) in height.
The waterfall drops 60 m (197 ft) and is part of the Seljalands River that has its origin in the volcano glacier Eyjafjallajökull. Visitors can walk behind the falls into a small cave.
Reynisfjara is a world-famous black-sand beach found on the South Coast of Iceland, which features basalt columns and the dramatic Reynisdrangar sea stacks. The sand at Reynisfjara is black due to its volcanic origins. Formed from cooled lava that flowed into the ocean during eruptions, the lava fragments were broken down over time by the powerful waves, creating the distinctive black sand beach we see today.
Skógafoss is one of Iceland’s biggest and most beautiful waterfalls with an astounding width of 25 meters (82 feet) and a drop of 60 meters (197 feet).Due to the amount of spray the cascade produces, at least one rainbow is present any time the sun emerges from behind the clouds.
Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is both the historical and geological heart of Iceland. Home to the world’s oldest parliament, Alþingi, founded in 930 AD, it is often called the birthplace of the nation. Located in a rift valley between the North American and Eurasian plates, the park features dramatic landscapes shaped by tectonic forces, including the striking Almannagjá gorge and lava fields.
The Glacier lagoon is told to be one of the greatest wonders of nature in Iceland. This lagoon is a recent one, the result of a warming climate. The surface is at sea level and sea water flows into the lagoon at high tide.Huge blocks of ice constantly break off the glacier,Breiðamerkurjökull, and large icebergs float on the lagoon. The lagoon is not very wide but it is up to 250 meters deep which makes it the deepest lake in Iceland. Breiðamerkurjökull is an outlet of the Vatnajökull glacier.
On this adventure tour, you will not only visit the Blue Ice Cave but also go on a hike on the glacier where you will get a the chance to explore ice tunnels, moulins and other beautiful ice features. It is such a unique experience to be able to stand inside an ancient glacier and the picturesque blue ice will make you feel like you are in a fairytale.
Visit the magical Diamond Beach, a black volcanic sand beach next to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon on the South Coast of Iceland. Transport yourself to a new world as you walk between diamond-shaped blocks of ice that have drifted ashore from Breiðamerkurjökull Glacier.Next to the famous Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, take a stroll at the Diamond Beach, where blue, black, transparent, and white icebergs shine like diamonds as you weave your way between them. Prepare to be amazed at the most popular beach in Iceland!

Goðafoss Waterfall is nicknamed the “Waterfall of the Gods.” Some believe that the name comes from the fact that the waterfall is god-like in beauty. However, an old Icelandic legend tells the tale of the waterfall’s name through a Viking leader named Þorgeir Ljósvetningagoði.Þorgeir is said to have had thrown his Pagan statues into the waterfall, resulting in its name. No one really knows the accurate story of the waterfall’s name but leaving it as a mystery might also play a part in keeping it mythic.
